Interviewer: Is consulting between jobs something you recommend as part of a job search strategy?

Goodman: As I write in the book, “it depends.” There’s no single answer that applies to everyone. It’s depends a lot on the person – his or her skills, experience, and goals – and the type of consulting that interests the individual.
